Privacy Policy

Language / Język:

This Privacy Policy explains how VectorTale (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website (https://vectortale.com/) or play our mobile and web games and applications, including Not Now! (collectively, the “Services”).

We are committed to user privacy and believe in complete transparency. We minimize data collection to the absolute lowest level needed to deliver gameplay and support the game.

Summary: We do not operate user accounts, we do not ask for your personal details, and we do not store personal profiles on our servers. The game saves progress on your device. With your consent, Google Firebase Analytics receives game statistics to help improve level balance. Third-party advertising in the Android and iOS game is provided by Google AdMob; the full version has no ads.

1. Information We Do Not Collect Directly

  • No User Accounts: You do not need to register, log in, or provide any personal details (such as your name, email address, home address, or phone number) to play Not Now! or browse our website.
  • No Custom Data Servers: We do not operate proprietary databases or server backends that gather, store, or profile your personal identifiers.

2. Local Device Storage

The game stores your progress and configuration locally on your device (using standard browser/web view local storage):

  • Campaign progress (highest unlocked level and earned stars)
  • High scores and personal best records (Endless mode)
  • Audio volume settings and language preferences (English / Polish)

Your saved progress remains on this device; you can choose to share a game result. With analytics consent, selected progress statistics and game events are sent to Google as described below. Clearing application data removes local progress; Google Play and App Store purchases can be restored through the respective store.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising (Google AdMob)

To provide free access and support ongoing game development, Not Now! integrates Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to display in-game ads (such as interstitial ads and rewarded videos for skins and optional hints).

Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain device and usage data in accordance with its privacy policies, including:

  • Advertising & Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID) on Android, IDFA on iOS when tracking permission is granted, device model, hardware specifications, and operating system version.
  • Network & Diagnostics: IP address, approximate geographical location (network-level), ad performance metrics, and diagnostic/crash data to prevent fraud and ensure proper ad serving.

Google’s processing of this information is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy:

Firebase Analytics and Google privacy choices

The Android and iOS versions use Google Firebase Analytics, only with analytics consent, to understand level difficulty and improve game balance. Google receives game events such as level starts, failures and completions, distances, collision causes, attempt counts, time played, tutorial and campaign progress, assistance, skin choices and purchase-related events. The SDK also processes an app installation identifier and device information; game properties include language, app version and full-version status. We do not request your name, email or precise location. Firebase Analytics advertising ID collection is disabled; on iOS its SDK excludes IDFA support and IDFV collection is also disabled. The browser game does not send Firebase analytics.

Google's UMP privacy form handles advertising and analytics choices in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Collection remains off until analytics storage is expressly granted. Permission to request an ad is not analytics consent. If the form does not supply an analytics grant, including outside these regions, analytics remains off. Advertising consent signals are interpreted separately by Google's SDK.

Open GOOGLE CONSENT: ADS & ANALYTICS in game settings to review, change or withdraw your choices, also in the full version without ads. Withdrawing analytics consent stops further collection; it does not automatically erase information previously sent to Google. Data is sent using encrypted TLS connections and is processed in the developer's Google Analytics property under Google's policies. More: Firebase privacy information.

How to Opt-Out of Personalized Ads

You have full control over personalized advertising on your Android device:

  • Go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Privacy → Ads).
  • Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID, or toggle Opt out of Ads Personalization.

On iOS, the advertising consent flow may request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission when needed. You can review it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining does not block gameplay or grant analytics consent. Analytics consent remains a separate purpose in Google's UMP form.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our games and website are designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). If you believe a child has provided personal information through our Services or third-party SDKs, please contact us immediately so we can take prompt corrective action.

5. Data Security & User Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

All network communication with our domain and third-party advertising partners is strictly transmitted over encrypted HTTPS protocols.

Under privacy regulations such as the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. Since all game progress is stored locally on your device, you can delete this data at any time by clearing the application storage or uninstalling the game.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our games, technologies, or applicable laws. Any modifications will be posted directly on this page with an updated “Last updated” timestamp.
